“What’s actually holding me back?”

It may not be strategy. It may be your money mindset.

Not sure what’s really shaping your money decisions?

What Is a Money Mindset?

Your money mindset is the set of beliefs, thoughts, and patterns that shape how you relate to money.

It influences:

  • how you earn

  • how you sell

  • how you make decisions

  • how you steward your business

It’s not just about what you do with money.

It’s about what you believe about:

  • money

  • yourself

  • others

  • and God as your provider

To understand this more clearly—and identify your own pattern—watch this:

After watching, ask yourself:

  • Which mindset do I recognize in my decisions?

  • How is it affecting the way I show up in my business?

Because once you can identify it, you can begin to renew it.

7 Signs Your Money Mindset Is Holding Your business Back

1. You feel constant fear around Money

Even when things are going okay, you feel pressure.

  • “What if I don’t make enough?”

  • “What if this doesn’t work?”

This isn’t just wisdom—it’s fear shaping your decisions.

2. You struggle to Sell with confidence especially when selling feels uncomfortable

You know your work helps people.

But when it comes to selling:

  • you hesitate

  • you soften your message

  • you feel uncomfortable sharing your price

Selling feels heavy instead of clear.

3. You keep second-guessing Money decisions

You go back and forth on:

  • pricing

  • investing

  • launching

You tell yourself: → “I just need more clarity”

But often… → it’s fear disguised as wisdom

4. You avoid looking at your numbers

You delay checking:

  • income

  • expenses

  • results

Not because you don’t care—but because it feels uncomfortable.

Avoidance is often a sign of a deeper belief.

5. You feel tension between Faith and Money

You want to honor God.

But you also think:

  • “Is it wrong to want more?”

  • “Am I being too focused on money?”

  • “Should I charge this much?”

So you stay stuck between: → growth and guilt

6. Fear sounds like Wisdom in your thoughts

This is one of the biggest ones.

Fear doesn’t sound like fear.

It sounds like:

  • “I’m just being wise”

  • “I don’t want to rush God”

  • “I’ll wait until I feel more peace”

But here’s the question:

Does that thought lead to action—or avoidance?

Because:

  • wisdom leads to clarity

  • fear leads to delay

7. You’re Ready for More—but Not Moving Forward

You feel it.

You’re tired of:

  • fear

  • hesitation

  • overthinking

You want:

  • growth

  • clarity

  • peace

But your actions aren’t matching that desire.

That’s often the clearest sign: → your mindset needs to shift

What happens if you ignore this

If your money mindset doesn’t change, it will continue to shape your business.

You may:

  • stay underpaid

  • avoid opportunities

  • overwork or strive

  • feel stuck in cycles

  • Plus impact your household and how you communicate with your partner

Not because you lack discipline. But because your thinking hasn’t been renewed yet.

How to Start Shifting Your Money Mindset

Real change starts with awareness—but it doesn’t stop there.

Here’s a simple step you can take this week:

Ask yourself:

“Is this thought leading me toward trust—or toward avoidance?”

Then bring that thought to God.

Not to fix it quickly—but to examine it honestly.

The Process I use with my clients

This is the work I guide my clients through using my F.L.I.P. The Table™ Method:

Find the money block

→ Identify the belief behind your behavior

Lean on God

→ Anchor in His character as Provider

Instill new thoughts and habits

→ Replace fear-based thinking with truth

Pursue God over money

→ Shift your focus from outcomes to faithfulness

This is how you move from:

  • fear and hesitationto

  • confidence and peace

What happens when you start Renewing your Money Mindset

Once you begin to shift your thinking, your actions start to change too.

Not because you’re forcing yourself—but because you’re no longer being led by fear.

Before working together:

“I would freeze on sales calls, and just the thought of looking at my numbers made me anxious.”

After working together:

“Now I look forward to my money dates, I’ve raised my prices, signed 4 new clients, and my mindset has shifted—not just with money, but in life and business too.”

“Raina combines biblical truth, fun, and compassion in a way that’s truly life-changing.”

— Sarah, Podcast Editor

Sarah’s story isn’t about working harder.

It’s about what happens when your thinking begins to change.

When you stop:

  • avoiding

  • overthinking

  • second-guessing

And start:

  • making decisions with clarity

  • taking action with confidence

  • stewarding what God has entrusted to you with peace

That’s the shift.

If you’re ready for this kind of change, the first step is identifying what’s shaping your thinking.

How to fix your Money Mindset and grow your Business with Peace

You don’t have to stay stuck in:

  • fear

  • hesitation

  • or avoidance

There is a way to:

  • earn with peace
