You’re doing the work. You’re showing up in your business.

You care about serving well. You want to steward what God has given you faithfully.

But something still feels… off.

  • You hesitate when it’s time to sell

  • You overthink money decisions

  • You feel pressure instead of peace

  • You’re not growing the way you expected

  • You don't invest in yourself or your business

It may not be strategy. It may be your money mindset.

Not sure what’s really shaping your money decisions?

What Is a Money Mindset?

Your money mindset is the set of beliefs, thoughts, and patterns that shape how you relate to money.

It influences:

  • how you earn

  • how you sell

  • how you make decisions

  • how you steward your business

It’s not just about what you do with money.

It’s about what you believe about:

  • money

  • yourself

  • others

  • and God as your provider

Watch to Identifying the Money Mindset Shaping Your Decisions

After watching, ask yourself:

  • How is it affecting the way I show up in my business?

Because once you can identify it, you can begin to renew it.

7 Signs Your Money Mindset Is Holding Your business Back

1. You feel constant fear around Money

Even when things are going okay, you feel pressure.

  • “What if I don’t make enough?”

  • “What if this doesn’t work?”

This isn’t just wisdom—it’s fear shaping your decisions.

2. You struggle to Sell with confidence especially when selling feels uncomfortable

You know your work helps people.

But when it comes to selling:

  • you hesitate

  • you soften your message

  • you feel uncomfortable sharing your price

Selling feels heavy instead of clear.

3. You keep second-guessing Money decisions

You go back and forth on:

  • pricing

  • investing

  • launching

You tell yourself: → “I just need more clarity”

But often… → it’s fear disguised as wisdom

4. You avoid looking at your numbers

You delay checking:

  • income

  • expenses

  • results

Not because you don’t care—but because it feels uncomfortable.

This is where we need to apply the F.L.I.P. method to find the root block.

5. You feel tension between Faith and Money

You want to honor God.

But you also think:

  • “Is it wrong to want more?”

  • “Am I being too focused on money?”

  • “Should I charge this much?”

So you stay stuck between: → growth and guilt

6. Fear sounds like Wisdom in your thoughts

This is one of the biggest ones.

Fear doesn’t sound like fear.

It sounds like:

  • “I’m just being wise”

  • “I don’t want to rush God”

  • “I’ll wait until I feel more peace”

But here’s the question:

Does that thought lead to action—or avoidance?

Because:

  • wisdom leads to clarity

  • fear leads to delay

7. You’re Ready for More—but Not Moving Forward

You feel it.

You’re tired of:

  • fear

  • hesitation

  • overthinking

You want:

  • growth

  • clarity

  • peace

But your actions aren’t matching that desire.

That’s often the clearest sign: → your mindset needs to shift

These are the sign your money mindset is holding your business back

What happens if you ignore your money mindset

If your money mindset doesn’t change, it will continue to shape your business.

You may:

  • stay underpaid

  • avoid opportunities

  • overwork or strive

  • feel stuck in cycles

  • Plus impact your household and how you communicate with your partner

Not because you lack discipline. But because your thinking hasn’t been renewed yet.

What happens when you start Renewing your Money Mindset

Once you begin to shift your thinking, your actions start to change too.

Not because you’re forcing yourself—but because you’re no longer being led by fear.

Sarah, a podcast editor, experienced this shift:

Before working together:

“I would freeze on sales calls, and just the thought of looking at my numbers made me anxious.”

After working together:

“Now I look forward to my money dates, I’ve raised my prices, signed 4 new clients, and my mindset has shifted—not just with money, but in life and business too.”

“Raina combines biblical truth, fun, and compassion in a way that’s truly life-changing.”

FAQs About Christian Money Mindset

How do I know if my money mindset is holding me back?

If you find yourself consistently avoiding your numbers, second-guessing your prices, or feeling a sense of "guilt" when your business grows, these are clear indicators that your mindset is driven by fear rather than biblical stewardship.

Is it possible to change a scarcity mindset?

Yes. Through the renewal of your mind (Romans 12:2) and the implementation of brain-based habits, you can shift from a scarcity "lack" mentality to a posture of trust in God’s provision.
