Why I Created The Fruitful & Faithful Steward

I want to share the story behind why I created The Fruitful & Faithful Steward.

Because honestly, this program didn't come from a business idea.

It came from a burden on my heart.

Over the years, I've spoken with so many Christian women entrepreneurs who love God, want to honor Him, and genuinely want to steward their businesses faithfully.

But I've watched them carry so much unnecessary fear and confusion around money.

I've heard women wonder if God was punishing them because they had a low-income month.

I've seen women assume that because their business wasn't growing as quickly as they hoped, something must be wrong with them spiritually.

And I've watched women tie their worth, value, and identity to their income, their sales, and their business results.

Every time I heard those stories, my heart broke.

Because that's not how God sees us.

At the same time, I became increasingly concerned by some of the messages Christians hear about money.

  • On one side, there are teachings that make people believe money is bad, that wanting to earn more is somehow unspiritual, or that faithful Christians should feel guilty about success.

  • On the other side, there are teachings that treat God like a genie or an ATM machine as if following Him guarantees wealth and material blessings.

I don't believe either of those views reflects what Scripture teaches.

What God showed me is that this conversation isn't really about money.

  • It's about stewardship.

  • It's about our relationship with God.

  • It's about understanding who we are in Christ so we stop looking to money, business success, or achievement to tell us our value.

Because when your identity is secure in Christ, money becomes a tool to steward rather than something that controls you.

That's why I created The Fruitful & Faithful Steward.

I wanted a place where Christian women entrepreneurs could heal their relationship with money through the truth of God's Word.

A place where we could uncover the fears, beliefs, and money stories that have quietly shaped their decisions for years.

Because the truth is, most of us inherited our money story.

We learned beliefs about money from our families, our culture, our experiences, and sometimes even from teaching that wasn't biblically sound.

Those beliefs often show up as fear, avoidance, scarcity, shame, overworking, people-pleasing, undercharging, or feeling guilty about success.

And those patterns don't just affect us.

  • They affect our families.

  • They affect future generations.

  • They affect how we steward everything God has entrusted to us.

  • That's why this work matters so much to me.

Because if I can help one woman experience freedom in this area, the impact goes far beyond her.

  • She begins leading differently.

  • Making decisions differently.

  • Stewarding differently.

  • Serving differently.

And that impact ripples through her family, her clients, her community, and ultimately God's Kingdom.

No more overthinking. No more spiraling alone.

But here’s what makes my work different.

My clients often say the most surprising part is how safe, freeing, and even fun it becomes to talk about money, success and God.

In my program the fruitful and faithful steward, which is a 90 day mentoring and discipleship program, We gently unpack fears.

We laugh.

We reflect.

We grow in the Lord.

And we begin to see that even the hard parts of their money story: overspending, debt, undercharging, fear of success, financial mistakes, and seasons of struggle can be redeemed and repurposed by God for something meaningful.

One client Sarah described the transformation this way: "You cannot overcome these deep-rooted money blocks without help. Raina approaches mindset, finances, and partners with God in a way that makes you feel comfortable – and it's fun! I would not want to work with anyone else.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. “Why do I still feel stuck in my business even though I know what to do?”

A lot of Christian women assume this is a discipline issue or a strategy issue, but often it’s not.

You can know what to do: raise your prices, show up consistently, sell your offer but still feel a deep internal resistance when it comes time to act.

What I’ve seen is that the stuckness usually shows up when there’s a tension underneath the surface between what you believe about success and what you believe about God.

So instead of moving forward with peace, there’s hesitation, overthinking, avoidance, or even guilt.

And until that belief layer is addressed, strategy alone won’t feel accessible.

That’s why we don’t just focus on what to do, we look at what you believe while you’re doing it.

2. “Is my money mindset affecting my business growth and income as a Christian entrepreneur?”

Yes and often more than people realize.

Because your money mindset doesn’t just affect how you think about money, it affects how you make decisions in your business.

It shows up in things like undercharging, avoiding sales conversations, not looking at your numbers, or feeling uncomfortable receiving more income.

And for many Christian women, there’s also a spiritual tension: questions like, “Is it okay for me to want more?” or “Does success distance me from God?”

So even when there’s skill and opportunity present, the internal beliefs can quietly slow everything down.

When we bring those beliefs into alignment with Scripture and truth, business decisions become clearer and less emotionally charged.

3. “What does a biblical money mindset actually look like in business?”

A biblical money mindset is not about rejecting money or chasing money, it’s about proper stewardship under God.

It means money is no longer your identity, your source of security, or your measure of worth.

Instead, your identity is anchored in Christ, and money becomes something you steward with wisdom, peace, and responsibility.

It also means you can look at your business decisions without fear leading the way: whether that’s pricing, selling, or investing.

You’re not driven by scarcity or pride, but by obedience and trust.

And practically, it looks like being able to earn with peace, sell with confidence, and make decisions without constantly second-guessing yourself or feeling guilty for wanting to grow.
