Quick Win: Discover Your Money Mindset—and Step Into Peace
Take this quick quiz to find out which mindset is shaping how you think, feel, and act with money—and get a practical, biblical next step to renew your thinking.
Are you tired of the "start and stop" cycle with your finances?
Does the idea of living debt-free or actually enjoying the money you earn feel like a distant dream?
Whether you find yourself ignoring your bank statements, undercharging for your services, or feeling guilty every time you spend, the truth is this: Your beliefs about money shape your financial reality.
You can’t out-hustle a mindset that is rooted in fear or scarcity.
The good news?
Managing money can be fun, freeing, and empowering when you align your thoughts with God’s truth.
Here are three biblical steps to reset your money mindset today.
Step 1: Recognize the Patterns You’ve Been Ignoring
You cannot change what you aren't aware of. Most of our financial behaviors are "autopilot" responses learned years ago.
Take a moment to pause—what is the first thought that hits you when you think about your bank account?
“I’m just not good with numbers.”
“There is never enough to go around.”
“If I earn more, I’ll become greedy.”
These aren't just thoughts; they are indicators of your current money mindset.
In my coaching, I help women identify where they fall: are you stuck in a Scarcity Mindset (fearing lack), a Poor Mindset (believing money is inherently bad), or a Greedy Mindset (looking to money for happiness)?
The goal is a Stewardship Mindset—where you see God as the Provider and money as a tool for His Kingdom.

Step 2: Reframe the Lies with Biblical Stewardship
Many of us have been influenced by extremes—either the "poverty gospel" that makes us feel guilty for earning, or the "prosperity gospel" that makes money the goal. Neither reflects the heart of God.
Money is a tool. It does exactly what you tell it to do.
In the Biblical Money Mindset program, I walk my clients through exercises to identify the specific lies they’ve believed and replace them with Truth.
For example, when Paul warns that the love of money is a root of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), he isn't saying money itself is the problem—he’s talking about worship.
When you reset your money mindset, you stop fearing the tool and start mastering it for God’s glory.
Step 3: Practice New Habits Until They Become Nature
A mindset shift isn’t a one-time "aha" moment; it’s a daily walk of discipleship.
Just like my client Angie discovered in our 90-Day Mentorship, you have to practice the "Pause."
To cultivate a new mindset, you need faith-based action:
Track with Grace: Don't look at your numbers to shame yourself; look at them to see where you can be faithful.
Practice Gratitude: Shift your focus from what is "missing" to what God has already provided.
Renew Daily: When a scarcity thought pops up, immediately replace it with a promise of God’s provision.
As you consistently practice these habits, the "mental fog" lifts. Fear and guilt are replaced by confidence and stewardship joy.
